Overview

Diamant Hotel Canberra managed by Eight Hotels Australia, is a spectacular 80 room boutique hotel positioned by the Lake Burley Griffin at the intersection of Marcus Clarke Street and Edinburgh Avenue. Located within the original Hotel Acton building, this historical and heritage listed site has been transformed into the NewActon Pavilion, incorporating the Diamant Hotel and creating Canberra's first contemporary boutique hotel.    

On the doorstep of Canberra's key cultural, entertainment, sport and commercial facilities and emersed in a series of unique designer landscaped gardens and complimentary specialist retailers, the Diamant Hotel Canberra is perfectly located in Canberra's first true urban village.    

Designed by renowned principal architects Fender Katsalidis and celebrated interior designer SJB Interiors, the Diamant offers exceptional quality and extraordinary comfort.    

The hotel features Flint Dining Room & Bar, Du Jour Café’, Parlour Wine Room and the Perrier Jouet Bar located in the hotel lobby.

Getting There

By car from the airport via Tyson Drive:
Bear left and continue along ramp and turn at Ulinga Place. At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Pialligo Avenue. You will meet a second roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue on Pialligo Avenue. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Morshead Drive. Continuing along Morshead Drive you will meet other 3 roundabouts. Always take the second exit and continue along Morshead Drive. At the fourth roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Parkes Way. Continuing along Parkes Way, at the roundabout take the 1st exit. Continue along Edinburgh Avenue Exit.

You will find the hotel after approximately 400 metres on your right.

Distance from the airport is 8.5 kms, estimated drive time is 7 minutes.

Children / Extra Guests

Rates for the rooms are per room for a maximum of two (2) guests per room. The addition of one child is possible in the Suite, the Premium and the Heritage rooms. Cots are available at $20 per night. Any additional charges are payable direct to the hotel.
