Overview

Originally the McIntosh family home built in 1898, McIntosh Cottages have been restored as two co-joined cosy holiday cottages in Strahan, on the fringe of the World Heritage Wilderness of Tasmania's West Coast.

McIntosh Cottages are self contained, private and reminiscent of a time gone by. The cottages include little extras to make your stay more memorable: a comfortable king size bed, an open wood fire and continental breakfast provisions.

McIntosh Cottages are located on the main street in Strahan, only two blocks to the supermarket and approximately 500 metres to the Esplanade. Located on Tasmania's West Coast, Strahan is approximately three hours drive from Launceston and five hours drive from Hobart.

Visitor Review

It was a quaint & very nicely restored house. The wood heater was a novelty, and the accommodation was within walking distance to the heart of strahan.

These lovingly restored, self contained and quaint cottages are ideal for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The One Bedroom Cottage has a separate lounge, bedroom and a full kitchen. The lounge includes a cosy open wood fire, TV, CD player and a sofa bed.

Bedding configuration is 1 King bed and 1 Double Sofa bed. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

2 Bedroom Cottage
These lovingly restored, self contained and quaint cottages are ideal for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The Two Bedroom Cottage has a separate lounge, two bedrooms and a full kitchen. The lounge includes a cosy open wood fire, TV, CD player and a sofa bed.

Bedding configuration is 1 King bed, 2 Single beds and 1 Double Sofa bed. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.
