Totally refurbished in 1994, The Manor Apartment Hotel is a landmark 4 star Brisbane heritage listed building which was originally known as the 'Colonial Mutual Life' building, and then 'Newspaper House'. This historical Brisbane building is a unique boutique Brisbane accommodation, featuring facings with Benedict stone and elaborate masonry work which is a must see for any Brisbane holiday.

Getting There

Located 20 kilometres from the international and domestic airports. Approximately a $30 taxi ride or $11 by AirTrain (discounted AirTrain vouchers at $10 available from reception for your return journey - please enquire). Travelling from the Gold Coast on the Pacific Motorway, as approaching the city, stay in the centre left lane and take the Elizabeth Street exit then down to Creek Street turn left and left again into Queen Street. The hotel is located next to the GPO.

A short walk to Central Station to catch a train to the airport or Brisbane suburbs and Gold Coast.

Mini service is provided every second day (excluding weekends) and a full cleaning service weekly.

The two bedroom apartment features fully-enclosed bedrooms, each with their own, separate bathroom, a remote control television and DVD player, direct dial telephone access, air-conditioning, washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and electric cooktop, video security system and complimentary continental breakfast in the Executive Lounge for 4 people.

Car Parking

Off-site parking is available at the Wintergarden Car Park (150 metres) - discounted parking vouchers available for purchase from hotel reception for $20.00 ( including GST) for a 24 hour period (one entry, one exit). There is a 10 minute drop-off zone in front of the hotel with two signs marked either side of the car space "10 min Manor Only". You may drop your luggage into the hotel and check in, and reception can give you directions to the car park and sell you parking vouchers.
