Only stayed for the one night for our friends wedding. Really wished we'd been able to stay for me. Great place to escape to for a long weekend. Loved it!

Getting There

Travel north along Captain Cook Highway. Turn right at Trinity Beach Road. Resort located left at first roundabout.
Airport transfers can be arranged or taxi.

Marlin Cove Resort is only 10 minutes and 18kms North of Cairns Airport and a telephone call away from you living your dream tropical holiday escape.

3 Bedroom Apartment

my family and i visited the marlin coast resort in early July. We loved the pool, gardens and facilities as well as the clean, spacious room we stayed in. We received great service from the staff and enjoyed the friendly service we received. Would definitely stay again thankyou.

Really rate Marlin Cove resort as a great place to stay, relax and enjoy. The place is very clean and a great family desintation. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Really cant say a bad word about it

Good Points;Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen very clean. Loved the gardens and pool.
Bad points:Carpet and lounge suite needs commercial clean and sanitising, very grubby and smelly. we needed to leave windows open and to use air freshener. Oven had never been cleaned, so smoke alarm would go off.very surprised to find no hairdryer, face cloths or handtowel and we had to purchase our own.
But overall we really liked the place and would go back again.

Liked: Quiet location, gardens, carports, peaceful place.

Our holiday was spoiled over the xmas break by overly-keen management making sure there was no 'xmas cheer' around the pool. Little hand written warning signs taped around the beautiful BBQ pool area was really tacky.

They advertised a restaurant but it looked like it had been out-of-action for months.

Rooms were in need of a paint and the furniture was blistered and old.

But, a beautiful spot very close to the beach and shops.

The Marlin Cove resort is amazing. The apartment we stayed in was fantastic, it had everything we could possible need. The pool is one of the best i have ever seen. the staff are friendly and very efficient. I know we will return and stay again when in North QLD.

We stayed at Marlin Cove for just over 3 months from January until May and had a wonderful time here, everything was perfect. The apartments and grounds were fantastic and maintained to a very high standard. It is a five minute walk to the beach and a bus stop is right outside to take you anywhere you want to go. The management were amazing and could not do enough for you. They were always there willing to provide help and advice or even just to have a friendly chat. We would just like to thank you all for making our stay so wonderful. Marlin Cove really is paradise in paradise.
